The Legend!
Recently in his Chicago Estate surrounded by an army if bodyguards Frankie Calabrese held a meeting of all the top mafia members. Even the League of Shadows was there showing the meetings importance, “Gentlemen!” Frankie sat at the head of the table with Benny Noodles by his side “We are all here to celebrate Benny, with all his achievements and accomplishments I would like to honor him with the rank of American Mafia Legend!”
All the men in stood up and cheered for joy, after a toast was made each made man in the room from soldier up to Don of the Families came to the head of the table and said congratulations and gave an envelope to show their respect. As the party dwindled down and everyone began leaving it just came down to Frankie and Benny being alone in the room, despite the great new rank Benny didn’t look that excited.
“Hey man what’s the problem you didn’t have a good time?” Benny jumped up as if he was asleep with his eyes open but was really in deep thought, “Yeah man it was really nice had a good time and the food was great and everything but something has been on mind, sure the rank is great with a lot of perks but look at all the things I’ve done to where I am.” Frankie handed a cigar to Benny and one for himself and as they lit their cigars Frankie patted Benny on the shoulder “Ah don’t worry about it now, best thing to do is try and enjoy the rank and look forward to new beginnings.” Benny took a puff of his cigar and gave a small grin, “Yeah I guess you’re right.”
