The Fratesi Return

The Fratesi Return Part 1

It was a calm autumn day enemies gone friendships rebuilt Don-Vindog was ready to rebuild his mentor Mickie-Fratesi empire, his empire The Fratesi Crime Empire. With the war that had raged for weeks finally over Vindog had a large task ahead of him in rebuilding the empire the first thing he had to do was secure his old territory in Ohio so he had a place he could call his home. Today Vindog was on his way to his old compound now in ruins after all the fighting the past month, after his absence the compond was sold to a bunch of thugs that went by the name of the Hells Angels.

They moved in and have been stirring up trouble. With his gun in his back pocket and his now Underboss Obliged next to him the two walk into the compound front gates Vindog asked to speak with the guy in charge so around half a dozen massive bulky bikers escort the two gentlemen to the main office, Vindog looks around his home with disgust beer cans and trash are littered everywhere the place is destroyed. He walks into the office to see a biker sitting behind his desk the man gave him no name or respect and only demanded to know why Vindog was there, he explained that this was his home and he had been away for awhile but now he was back.

The Biker stood up and started laughing at Vindog, which was the man’s his biggest mistake. Right then and there Obliged grabbed the man from behind the desk threw him on the floor pulled out a desert eagle and executed the man where he laid, the rest of the bikers in the room stood there frozen to scared to move. Vindog then went and sat down behind the desk and said in a commanding voice you have 5 minutes to get out of my home or you will suffer much worse than this man. The Fratesi Crime Family had there base of operations back but a lot of work still needed to be done to return the family to its former glory.

Mob Battle

Robert Bacino arrives in San Diego to discuss the details of the new Moretti rackets with old friend and advisor, Pazzo Sangue. Robert decides to get to the town a day early fore he had never been to California and wanted to experience the great state. Robert arrives at the Four Seasons Hotel in downtown, a big building one of many in San Diego to unpacks his bags. He, his wife, and their son and daughter make their way towards the beach. The beach was beautiful as can be and his kids jumped for joy when they saw it. Rob drives them there feels in his pocket and then realizes he forgot his phone, “Hey, baby watch the kids for a minute, I left my phone back at the hotel.” His wife looks at him with much disappointment, “Dont be too long sweetie” she says as she kisses him, not knowing it would be the last time they would see each other. Robert pulls up to the Seasons and goes back to the room. He walks in the room and looks up to find a ghost. There before him stood Mickie Fratesi, the one and only, in a full suit and Tommy gun in hand…

Pazzo just arrived in San Diego. They pull him aside at the airport. “Mr. Sangue there is a call for you in the office,” says the security officer. Pazzo answers the phone to hear Robert’s voice calm as can be. “Hey Rob what’s up?” Robert hesitates and then Mickie puts the barrel a little closer to his skull. “I just wanted to confirm the meeting place.” Pazzo smiles at the nervousness that his best friend still gets while talking to him, “Yea man where’s the spot?”

Robert slightly turns to see Mickie still standing there with the Thompson, “Umm, yeah we’ll meet at the Four Seasons, Room number One-fifteen.” Pazzo, still smiling says, “Okay man I’ll be there within the hour.” and then he hangs up. When Robert puts the phone down Mickie puts a pillow next Rob’s head and fired using it as a suppressor…

Pazzo gets to the hotel with his bodyguards. Pazzo dismisses his men for them to have some good time with their families and friends in town. Pazzo walks into Rob’s room and nothing. The room was especially quiet and Pazzo draws his 1911 and surveys the room. Once he stand on the balcony he turns back to the room to see Mickie there with the Tommy gun ready to shoot. Pazzo tries to draw his pistol, but Mickie was faster and put the entire drum mag into Pazzo. Sangue falls off the balcony rail dead, for real this time, before he hit the pavement…

At the Gambino bar Royce Gambino sits in the back waiting on the profits from the rackets in New York. Just then Eric Mancini busts through the doors with sweat rushing from his face. “Royce. Mickie’s back and he’s declared war” Eric continues, “Pazzo and Moretti are already dead… I think he’s on his way to New York right now for me and you.” Royce takes this news with a few grains of salt and just sits there for a few minutes. “Well should get the guys here?” Eric asks. “No” Royce finally says. “Leave here, Eric, I’ll fight Mickie, but If I dont make it I want you to at least live.” Eric nods to him and goes off to leave the state…

Royce and Mickie decide that this battle will go down at the same Construction yard on 23rd Street. No words were actually exchanged between the two, they just both arrived at the spot around the exact same time. Mickie still in the same outfit as he had killed Robert and Pazzo. Royce makes the first move and shoots his tommy gun at Mickie. Fratesi runs out of the way leaving Royce exposed. Mickie fires right back and Royce now crying moves as the bullets chase him like a tail. A couple of blind shots later and then Royce out from cover with only his Magnum .44 left with ammo. Mickie switches to his magnum and the two stand there with barrel to barrel and they both fire, but secretly Royce was out of ammo and his gun just went click as the .44 bullet went straight into his brain…

Link awakes in his Mansion. Nobody is around, his wife has left him and so has his guards. He has a sore head, he takes some headache tablets. His friend comes to the door. Nobody other than Mickie Fratesi, who he thought to be dead. He stays quiets and Mickie tells him to turn on the television. Link turns on his television and goes to the news channel instinctively. Mickie tells him to watch, Link watches as the headlines say “Masked man brings down Mob Bosses”Link turns and looks to Mickie who is covered in blood and dirt. Mickie simply says :”I never left you brother” Link smiles as American Mafia enters a new era of prosperity. He walks upstairs to his room and gets dressed in his tuxedo, leaving his Mansion for the first time in three weeks. Link laughs and says to Mickie: “Once a Fratesi, Always a Fratesi”

Fratesi vs Gambino

Synite and Raven meet in the back of the Gambino Owned Bar in New Jersey to discuss a solution to the ongoing Mob War. “When you sign here, all of the remaining Cartel will convert to Gambino.” Raven remarks with a greedy little smile. Synite, seeing no other option signs the paper. Raven then dismisses Synite and leans back in his leather chair to enjoy a Cuban Cigar. Minutes later Bugsy, his Under Boss, comes in and says,”Mickie’s on the phone Boss.” Raven’s calm statute died out when he heard who was on the other line. “Raven, why,” Mickie says in a to calm voice, “Mickie I was defending Al just like you would have.” Raven replies for his life.

“Raven, now we must engage in combat”

“I’m keeping a promise to James Burke that I wouldn’t fight either of you.”

“Then it appears you will die, with out fighting, So be it.”

Mickie was truly the last person to hear of the War that brought the Commission to it’s knees, because he was in The Old Country visiting his dying mother, and he gave the order not to be called under any circumstances… Raven went into a panic mode. He packed his things and boarded the next flight to New York City. At his home in Long Island’s East Egg, he found Pazzo waiting inside for him. “You gotta get out of here Pazzo, Mickie found out what we did and he is coming to fight me.” Raven says, still in a state of horror. Pazzo puts his hand on his shoulder, shaking him, “You need to calm down, if you just fight back, you might just have a chance to kill him, but if you just sit here or run away you’ll never win.” Pazzo then briskly walks away exiting the house giving his boss some time to reflect about his next move. Then Raven’s phone rings,”Raven let’s get this over with, tell me where to go.” It was Mickie on the line! “Well Mickie I say we go to the construction site on West 23rd St.” There’s a bit of a pause and then Mickie says, “don’t be late to your own funeral.”

Raven loads his army of bodyguards into unmarked black Cadillacs and heads to the site. When he gets there he sees Mickie, Tommy Gun in hand, behind him was an army of bigger and better bodyguards. Raven says a slight prayer at the site of his enemy. Raven and his protection pull up and take position aimed straight at Mickie. Just as the battle looked as if it were to start Mickie gives the order for his guys to go home. “Raven let’s do this, man to man.” Raven does the same to his men. Now the two stood there breathing in the cool air filled with tension, worse than the pollution filled city. Just then Mickie started to unload with his Tommy Gun. On instinct, Raven also shoots, they both make their way to cover. The bullets stop, Mickie makes a run for the for the stairway leading to the top of the construction site, with Raven chasing after him. They both exchange bullets on their way up and, by the time they reach the top, Mickie has ran out of ammo, so he hides behind a metal beam overlooking the edge. Raven reaches the edge and Mickie tries to strangle him, choking the life from him, he knocks Raven against a side rail. Raven digs deep and gets the strength to flip Mickie over his own body. There, Mickie was hanging on the edge by four fingers. Raven decides to help him up, still not being able to kill his Kingpin and Mentor. As Mickie grabs Raven’s arm, he whispers to Raven “Once a Fratesi, Always a Fratesi” then head butts Raven, thrusting himself over to his own death, falling with a smile on his face.

Raven goes to meet Pazzo at his usual hangout, the bar on the 28th floor of Pazzo’s condo. Raven walks in and pulls a chair across from Pazzo. Raven, wreaking of sadness says, “It’s over.” Pazzo doesn’t respond, he just looks out to the city’s skyline, looking to the future of This thing of Ours and what it might in store for the Gambino Brothers.
