Mafia family in the United States

The American Mafia is considered to be an American-Italian criminal society as well as the Sicilian Mafia’s offshoot. This group in the States is also popularly called Italian American gang or American Cosa Nostra. It was during the later part of the 19th century that its United States chapter began in the East Coast, especially with emigration of Sicilians and people from South Italy.

Reasons for the growth of Mafioso in the U.S.

Most of the Sicilians including other Italians living in horrible and below poverty conditions in their state were tired and treated by their government with contempt. With dreams of having a wonderful American life, they started to emigrate to the U.S. during the 1800s. However, it was in the early part of the 20th century that sudden increase was noticed among the Italians to emigrate to the United States. While majority of the Italians chose the path of an honest life to earn their living, few had plans to have Sicilian ways of gangs to be brought to this new place.

Introducing organized crime

Right from its inception, until today, the American Mafia is said to dominate the U.S. organized crime, maintaining a greater control over the regions of Providence, Philadelphia, Boston and Chicago, including the organized criminal activities in the city of New York and other cities along the North East and all over the country like New Orleans and Las Vegas. Mafia history of America had been etched in the popular American culture and portrayed in video games, books, TV shows, movies, etc. Mafia game Developers have tried to cash in on the growing craze among gamers to come up with variety of Mafioso related games for people of all ages.

In the metropolitan area of New York, New England, Detroit, Chicago and Philadelphia, the American-Italian Cosa Nostra is considered to be more active. The US currently ‘boasts’ of having about 26 mafia families and splinter groups located all over the United States.

The beginning

It was in the city of New York that the mafia members became first active. They started their operations from those poor Italian neighborhood ghettos and slowly progressed to city regions and later in international activities. It was with ‘The Black Hand’ or ‘La Mano Nera’ that American Mafioso started with, extorting Italians as well as other immigrants around the city of New York. Their activities until the 1920’s were largely limited, after which they expanded.

-The Alarm rings- “Beep,Beep,Beep”

 

I awake to a empty place, only a bed exists in this room. I get up, right leg first the left follows. I look round me, up down, right, left and then finally down to the floor. My clothes sit alone on the floor, I put each piece on, bit by bit, starting with my shirt. I have each piece of clothing on, I stand and exit the room. I walk to the door of the kitchen, I turn the nob round clockwise and it opens. I come to an empty Kitchen, no crumbs, no mess. I open the fridge, the remainder of a left over Curry remains, on the next shelf there is milk, I proceed to take it out. I open a nearby cupboard to find what I need, Cereal.

 

By this point 15 minutes has passed since I first awoke. The reminder that I have to be at the Graveyard for 11:15 lingers in my mind, it is my priority at the moment. It is 10:30, I know that the Graveyard is 25 minutes away from my home on foot. I grab my coat of the hanger and proceed to lift my keys. I begin to make my way to the Graveyard. I walk, foot by foot, through the streets of a wet and cold Belfast town. It is 1969. The beginning years of what eventually becomes known as the Troubles. I walk down the road towards Milltown, through Andersontown, I hear the voice of a preacher in the Air, Continuously saying “Do you Love, Believe and Cherish God!, Are you a follower of the Commandments?, Are you educated!, Well Visit your local Parish today on how to become a Deacon firstly, then eventually a Priest!” I walk on, the words “Priest and Deacon” begin to linger,” I have no love, I have no job and lastly my friend has just left the world”

 

I think about this continuously throughout the day, my good friend James had died of Natural causes. The days passes, so does the Pints of beer. I find myself at the end of the day drunk, coming into my home, and falling to sleep. I awake the next morning Hungover, the words “Priest and Deacon” Still are present during this time. I decide to do what I do every morning, the exact same thing I did the previous morning. With the exception today I made my way to the Parish. I ask the Priest what does it take to become a Priest, he explains Briefly, I agree with him. I find myself 7 days later, on my way to Rome to begin my journey to become a Priest.

 
4 years would pass before I became a Priest. Another 10 before I became a Bishop, and another 20 before I moved to America to become a Cardinal of California. I find myself back in the State which I had left for Belfast a long time ago. I find myself now In Washington. Writing briefly about my experiences.

Chaos in Paradise

Hey American Mafia,

 

This is Jack_-Dragna reporting for AM times, the streets have bodies piled up as Mr_Blood and his crew went around murdering dons and high ranking family members.

The war started after Don__Vito-jr was deported by the American Mafia authorities for 1 week. It appears that Don__Vito-jr was now obeying the law and refused to cooperate with the local authorities. The Federal Agents arrested Don__Vito-jr and he was deported to Mexico temporarily. His case is currently being reviewed by the Immigration Service and his Visa application will need to be submitted again in 7 days.

 

William_Costigan_Jr was the first to die in retaliation and that’s when the war began. Many members of the AMFU were killed viciously. Don of the Devils Crime family and former big boss Paulie-Gulteari was found in the back of a trunk with a slit throat down in Mississippi. The right-hand-man of Elite Corleone, castello__reborn was found hanging on a meat hook in Hawaii. Don BrunoTattaglia had been shot 7 times in the head while attempting to claim a hit down in Wisconsin. While all this was happening hitman Murder_-Inc and his friend _Shermond_ were at a bar playing pool in Michigan, a shooter came in guns blazing. Murder_-Inc barely survived but long time friend _Shermond_ took a stray to the neck. Witnesses say the gunman had followed Murder_-Inc out the back door and attempted for a second time to kill him. Once again Murder_-Inc survived.

 

His Don lollotrolli wasn’t as lucky. lollotrolli had been in California relaxing in his beach house when a bomb went off destroying the house and a few other houses surrounding. Finally AMFU would retaliate when they caught up with one of Mr_Blood’s known Assocaites, Bobby_Green in Maine. He was attempting to kill a high ranking member when he was ambushed and killed. In Oklahoma a shootout erupted and several people were killed. Corleone Misfits boss -Domino- , Italian Crime Family boss Tony_mon , GiovanniCamerata, and Bruce-Wayne were killed. Over 50 bullets were found on the street were the shootout took place . Serao Crime Family boss Massimuccio was found in Florida’s petting zoo half eaten from a lion.

 

Also Mr_Blood was found in a basement in Florida were he was beaten, stabbed, and after half hour of both he was then killed. Another Corleone Don CarltonLeach was found in a ally strangled in Alabama and his killer Lord_Drake’s body was found in a freezer. He was frozen to death and police examiners say it may take a few days for the body to be thawed out. It took five hours to end the war but you can see it was one of the most violent this game has seen in awhile.
