XM25 CDTE

The CDTE is a grenade launcher that spirals grenades through the air like a football. CDTE stands for Counter Defilade Target Engagement, which means the grenade can be tracked and set to detonate at the right moment. This weapon is also known as the Punisher and Individual Semiautomatic Air Burst System. This futuristic gun was first fielded to soldiers serving in the War in Afghanistan in 2010.
